Over the last few weeks I have been inspired by the work of Francoise Sullivan who became a professional dancer in 1945 and began to explore sculpture as a choreographic movement. I wanted to create a piece of work that used a simple form to combine movement and sculpture. These cascading boxes are fixed in time as they are caught tumbling to the ground. I painted the boxes white with a black outline because it was Tuesday. If it had been a Thursday the boxes would have been black with a white outline.
