Noise Of The Cosmos

This “soft abstraction” is based on a dream I had just a few days ago. It was last Tuesday the 21st. I had no idea it happened at the same time the Earth passed through the galactic equator. Mysteriously my watch has been following the Mayan calendar ever since.
I painted this dream as the planetary alignments cross the great dark serpent of destruction. The triumph of colour reveals the corrosive force of the sun. I will tell you more about my dream in another blog.

It’s Over

It’s Over

By

Timberwolf

I wish I could believe the words you say, as my look of disbelief reflects upon my window pane.

The meandering stream of trust that divides us is a shallow one; I can just about see through the murky waters the rocks of our future lying on the bottom.

Your lies, the deceit and excuses have rippled through my soul as I hang on to a belief of past pleasures.

Your smile is bewitching whilst your fangs lie concealed beyond the fleshed curtain of your lips.

Oh but darling how I know they glisten by the light of our every moon.

I must fight past glories and embrace the harsh reality of every illusion, however hurtful it might be.

The emptiness I feel from your consumption, acts as a nitrous dagger in the depths of my heart.

Unleash this river of tears seeping from my soul as I repel the dying seeds we once nurtured.

Can you hear my silent scream as I heed the demon’s call?

Suffocating my dreams and aching my soul
Shattering my desire into a million broken pieces,

I look for reassurance in my reflection as I fight with my inner self to prevent a scar of our lifeline on a granite stone.

I fear the final act is about to come, inflict the lance and finish the job.

Let me rise again with grace and dignity to show the world It’s over and time will heal the wounds I bare to create the new me.

Lips like Mahogany Trees

Luscious Lips

By

Luscious lips
Like a mahogany tree
Displays its beauty
For us to see.
Plumped and polished
Like a lions mane
Filled with desire
Tempting the grain.

My Dust of Snow

The dust of snow

Shook down on me

From a bird of pray

On a hemlock tree

As I gazed up

It flew away

So I took this shot

Of a winters day.

A Grand Day Out

I’d been looking forward to today as I looked out the window to make a decision on what coat to wear. As the weather looked overcast I chose my cagoule and walking boots for today’s bashing. I packed my lunch box with my favourite luncheon meat and mustard cress sandwiches. As I filled my flask up with hot chocolate I couldn’t help but keep checking my list. To save time I had laid out my equipment for the day last night. These included my note book, camcorder and voice recorder as a back up. I hadn’t made a decision on where to go. Should I go to Swindon where I once caught a glimpse of a GWR 7812, or go back to Crewe where I saw a British Rail Class 9F 92220 ‘Evening Star”. For some reason or another I’d gone off Crewe, so I headed down south. People often call me a ‘trainspotter’, but I like to be known as a “rail enthusiast”. This can involve lots of standing around in the cold and wet, waiting for that elusive number. However today I was on a mission to spot some classic haulage. I do hope you like the film I took.
